My eSIM

Devices and compatibility

Does a travel eSIM work alongside my own SIM?

Yes, and that is the normal arrangement. The travel eSIM is a second line: it carries data while your own line keeps your number for calls and texts.

You choose which line does what in your phone’s settings — mobile data on the travel line, calls on your own.

A phone with one physical SIM slot and eSIM support handles this fine. Nothing has to come out.
