What is included
Data only — no phone number, calls or SMS. Your own number keeps working on your home SIM.
Personal hotspot
Every plan here includes personal hotspot, so you can share your data with a laptop or tablet. It uses the same data as your phone, and several devices at once divide the speed.
Plans and lengths
Plans from 1 to 180 days, from $2.99. Install the eSIM at home on Wi-Fi. Each plan shows when it starts and how long it lasts before you pay.
Carrier maps show estimated coverage. Your eSIM’s roaming access, device, terrain and network conditions can affect service.
Unlimited, clearly explained
Made for travel: maps and ride apps the moment you land, WhatsApp and video calls with home, photos and social media on the go. Your home number stays on your own SIM for calls and texts.
Full speed, then continued data
Every unlimited plan here gives a set amount of data at full speed each day (500 MB a day · 1 GB a day · 2 GB a day · 3 GB a day · 5 GB a day · 10 GB a day), then keeps going at a lower speed until the next day (384 kbps · 512 kbps · 1 Mbps · 5 Mbps · 10 Mbps). The data does not run out before the plan ends.
- 384 kbps — Messages, email and maps
- 512 kbps — Calls, Reels and maps
- 1 Mbps — Social media and video
- 5 Mbps — Full HD video and films
- 10 Mbps — Full HD on several devices
Fixed-data plans (502 MB · 1 GB · 2 GB · 3 GB · 5 GB · 10 GB · 15 GB · 20 GB · 30 GB · 50 GB) suit people who know how much data they need.
What is an IP exit?
The country where your internet traffic exits to the public internet. It is not a VPN or a fixed IP address, and an app may still place you elsewhere.
IP exits you can choose here: Hong Kong · Philippines · Singapore · UK/EU (fixed-data plans only) · United Kingdom

Questions about China
View all FAQs →What is the cheapest unlimited data plan for China?
Our cheapest is Basic — from $2.99 for 1 day, and $20.99 for 30 days (500 MB at full speed a day, then up to 512 kbps).
How much does an eSIM for China cost?
Unlimited data: 1 day from $2.99, 7 days from $6.49, 15 days from $11.49, and 30 days from $20.49. Fixed data: 1 day from $3.99, 7 days from $3.49, 15 days from $3.99, and 30 days from $4.49. Each price is the total for the whole plan. With unlimited data you choose the speed after your daily full-speed amount: pay less for slower, more for faster.
Which networks does the eSIM use in China?
Plans for China run on these networks: China Unicom. Each plan names its own networks before you pay.
Why might ChatGPT, Netflix or your bank app act up in China — and what helps?
Many apps judge your country by where your connection appears to come from — the plan’s IP location — rather than by where you are standing. On local networks in mainland China, services such as Google, WhatsApp and Instagram are blocked; through an IP location outside the mainland they usually open. That is how roaming works, not a VPN. Through a Hong Kong IP, ChatGPT and Claude usually don’t open, because Hong Kong is not on their lists of supported countries; Gemini and Copilot usually do. Through Singapore, United Kingdom, and Philippines, ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini are usually available. Streaming catalogues such as Netflix usually follow the country your connection appears to be in, so some titles might differ from home. Your bank might ask for an extra check when you sign in from abroad: set up app-based security codes before you go, and keep your own SIM on for text messages. Each plan names its IP location before you pay, and “Choose your IP” lets you pick another. Each app decides for itself, so the choice is yours.
The apps travellers rely on in China — and how to set them up before you land
Travellers in China often use WeChat (messages and payments), Alipay (payments), DiDi (taxi), Amap or Baidu Maps (maps), and Meituan (food delivery). Alipay and WeChat Pay accept international Visa and Mastercard cards, and Chinese apps usually work through any IP location. Local apps usually care more about your phone number, payment card and app-store country than about your IP location, so install them at home before you fly.
Which IP locations can I choose for China?
Plans for China are sold with these IP locations: Singapore, UK/EU (fixed-data plans only), Philippines, Hong Kong, and United Kingdom. Each plan names its own, and "Choose your IP" lists them with their prices.
What does unlimited mean on a Lempart Flex plan?
It never runs out and it never stops. Each day a set amount — 500 MB a day on this plan — runs at full speed; after that the connection keeps working at a reduced speed for the rest of that day, and the full speed comes back the next day. There is no extra charge and nothing to top up. The reduced speed on this plan is 384 kbps.
When do the days start counting?
When the eSIM first connects to a network at the destination — not when you buy it and not when you install it. That is why installing at home on wifi is the easy way: you land already online.
Does this include a phone number, calls or SMS?
No. It is mobile data only. Your own number stays on your own SIM and keeps working normally, so calls and messages still reach you; to avoid your home operator charging you for roaming data, switch mobile data over to this eSIM and leave your own line on for calls.
Do I need an account to buy?
No. On this website an email address is all that is asked for — no name, no phone number, no password, no account. The eSIM and the receipt arrive by email, and the order number plus the last four digits of the ICCID do everything an account would: check what is left, ask for a refund, report a problem.
What happens when the days run out?
The eSIM stops carrying data and nothing further is charged. Some plans here can have days added later — the plan says so on its own details; for the rest, buying again is the way to carry on.
Can I share the connection over a personal hotspot?
Yes, on every plan. Whatever your laptop, tablet or second phone uses counts toward the same data as your phone: on an unlimited plan, the full-speed data for the day comes first, and after it the plan keeps going at its stated speed. Several devices connected at once divide the speed between them.
Will it work on my phone?
The phone has to support eSIM and must not be locked to one operator. Most phones sold in the last few years do; a locked phone will refuse the eSIM even though everything else is correct.
